Ulduar - First Week

The patch has been released and we have tried out the new instance Ulduar. In comparison to Naxxaramas it a great and much more difficult instance and we are having loads of fun doing it. The first week we were getting used to the new difficulity and the new bosses and we did not get as far as we hoped but we had progress most of the time.

The first day went rather well, or so we thought, when we killed Flame Leviathan pretty fast. Once we came to Ignis the Furnace Master things changed and we had some wipes. Thinking we should get some experience from some of the other bosses, we went to XT-002 Deconstructor and here we struggeled as well. After a few tries we tried out the last boss of this wing, Razorscale, where we remained the last of the raid time for this day. Having a rather unsuccessful first day in killing bosses we were content that we had killed one boss and had experienced the three other ones of the first wing.

The second day we went straight to Razorscale and we downed him after gaining some more experience of the fight. This is a rather fun fight with constant adds and harpooning Razorscale down. After he was dead we went for Deconstructor since we read that there was some issues with Ignis. We remained on this boss the rest of the week wiping on 3-10% because of too low dps.

Not a really good week as we downed only two bosses but we gained alot of experience from the tries we had and next week we will have a good advantage because of this.

Patch 3.1 - Secrets of Ulduar

Last week World of Warcraft's latest patch was launched by the name "Secrets of Ulduar". This was a really great and big patch and had loads of content and improvements. The key features of this patch, in my opinion, was the following:

• Ulduar Raid Instance
• Emalon
• Dual Talent Spec
• Argent Tournament
• Noblegarden
• Arena Season 5 End
• Class Changes
• Dungeon Maps

There is also some minor changes that made this a good patch:

• Fishing Dailys
• Swimming Mounts
• Removal of Lexicon of Power
• Easier skilling of Cooking & Fishing
• Easier Gathering (Herbs and Skin)
• 1 Hour Flasks
• New recipies for all frofessions

Setting Up

Started to think that we have very little news on our website and it would be nice to have a page where people could go to and update themselves at, especially guildmates, and here I am making a blog since it is the most simple way of distributing information.

I had to search a while for a nice template and I hope this one will work well. For now I will set it up so that it works properly and in the following days there will hopefully be some news here.
